Finally sat down in the local pub with feet up and reflecting on what a great weekend I’ve had at Nantwich Food Festival. I’ve been as a customer before for the past few years and loved it so it’s been a big step to take a stall and get involved. It’s been hard work and long days but it’s been great and we are already planning a return next year!
First up I need to send huge thanks to Chris, David, Sophie and Graeme helping get setup and keeping things ticking over. It was wayyyyy busier than expected and two trips were made to the brewery on Saturday to replenish stocks. Huge thanks must also go to the organisers and volunteers – it’s a huge event and such a lovely bunch of people to work with.
It was great to see familiar faces and new people discovering there’s a brewery in Crewe. Fantastic to see some faces again and again as they decided we had the best IPAs on site and couldn’t get enough, (both Out Of Step and Disfunctional will be bottled v soon!). It was touching to be sought out by people. It’s been kind of overwhelming at times! I’ve also been super proud of my beers, they’ve been on tip top condition and flowing well.
If we talked about bar hire drop me an email through the form on the Contact Us page and we can talk dates and details, it’s a great feeling to be offering a quirky and unique service!
I look forward to seeing some of you down at the brewery bar. For now the Brewery Baris open Thursday and Friday nights 5 – 10pm and will be open Saturdays from the end of September and through October too.
Don’t miss the Still Brewing event for the next two months where there are gins distilled by brewers and beers brewed by the same people – it’s an amazing lineup bringing our Gin Thing menu to a total of 50.
Don’t forget it’s the Crewe Rail Ale Festival at the Heritage Centre next weekend, the brewery bar is open as usual Thursday and Friday 5 – 10pm.
