Summer of Beer & Love

1967, the Summer of Love and 50 years later it’s our #SummerOfBeer with more beers, more opening hours and more live music in the chilled out, relaxed environment of the Offbeat Brewery bar.
“Avant garde” is one of the terms often used to describe 1967 which is so up our Offbeat street.  We can only hope the weather in Crewe matches up to that of San Francisco which was the hub of love fifty years ago.

On top of our usual #FirstyFriday and Thursday and Friday opening hours (5 – 10pm) we will be opening Saturdays from 2pm to 10pm through July and August.  Every Friday night through these summer months will see live music in the bar.

Chill out, soak up some sunshine, enjoy the draft beers and ciders, put some flowers in your hair and celebrate all that’s good about the Summer of Beer in 2017.

Keep up to date with what’s pouring and who’s performing on our Summer of Beer page.

The spring and summer of 1967 brought nearly 100,000 outsiders, activists, and dreamers to San Francisco. These young people traveled far and wide to join a community of artists, musicians, poets, and radicals who would change the world–influencing popular culture through music and art; launching the natural and organic foods movement; protesting war with peace and love; and ushering in an era of greater connectivity.
