The Taproom, Bar & Bottleshop continues to grow and evolve. I hope you like the changes when we reopen on Thursday, I’ll post some photos up too. It’s always going to be a quirky, novel space in a block industrial unit but injected with colour, a great range of beers, gins, wines, soft drinks and snacks. It’s original and I hope you love it as much as I do. I’ve so much planned for this year, look out for some amazing bands, events, tastings and more opening hours through the summer.
We are opening with an all Offbeat lineup; 1 cask beer and 6 keg beers, I aim to keep a cask beer on each week and obviously more on #FirstyFriday. I plan to have a lager, something dark, something a bit weird, and an IPA on too with the keg taps as a minimum. I’m thinking over our cider offering, the mango always seems to be the favourite but we’ve some bottles in at the moment of a medium apple plus looking at some other options.
The gin range is at 33, there will no doubt be more added and some of the seasonals we had will definitely make a return.
We’ve got our full wine list too put together with Rodney Densem so have a peruse and order by the glass or bottle.
Plus don’t forget Berries, Beans & Beer that we are part of the team for and putting on 28th – 30th April. This is going to be a fantastic drinks festival, you know our passion for fantastic beers and gins and we are bringing in some other great companies with wines, cider, coffee and soft drinks. We will be putting out regular weekly updates from the end of January with what’s happening – look forward to some amazing tasting sessions and dancing the night away!
